XSetFillStyle, XSetFillRule - GC convenience routines

2. SYNTAX

int XSetFillStyle(Display *display, GC gc, int fill_style); int XSetFillRule(Display *display, GC gc, int fill_rule);

3. ARGUMENTS

display 1i Specifies the connection to the X server.

fill_rule 1i Specifies the fill-rule you want to set for the specified GC. You can pass .ZN EvenOddRule or .ZN WindingRule .

fill_style 1i Specifies the fill-style you want to set for the specified GC. You can pass .ZN FillSolid , .ZN FillTiled , .ZN FillStippled , or .ZN FillOpaqueStippled .

gc 1i Specifies the GC.

4. DESCRIPTION

The .ZN XSetFillStyle function sets the fill-style in the specified GC.

.ZN XSetFillStyle can generate .ZN BadAlloc , .ZN BadGC , and .ZN BadValue errors.

The .ZN XSetFillRule function sets the fill-rule in the specified GC.

.ZN XSetFillRule can generate .ZN BadAlloc , .ZN BadGC , and .ZN BadValue errors.

5. DIAGNOSTICS

  • .ZN BadAlloc
     The server failed to allocate the requested resource or server memory.
  • .ZN BadGC
     A value for a GContext argument does not name a defined GContext.
  • .ZN BadValue
     Some numeric value falls outside the range of values accepted by the request. Unless a specific range is specified for an argument, the full range defined by the argument's type is accepted. Any argument defined as a set of alternatives can generate this error.
