kpsestat - compute octal mode from mode of existing file

kpsestat modefile

kpsestat prints the octal permission of filemodified according to modeon standard output. The modeparameter accepts a subset of the symbolic permissions accepted by

R chmod (1). Use =as the mode to obtain the unchanged permissions.

kpsestat accepts the following additional options:

--help

    .rb Print help message and exit.

--version

    .rb Print version information and exit.
