This manual page documents briefly the gnome-control-center command.
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
gnome-control-center is a front-end to configuration applets (capplets) that lets you configure your GNOME desktop. You may set things such as the background, the fonts, or the theme

5. OPTIONS ▲
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below.
Theses options are mainly the standard command line options of gtk.
-?, --help 10 Show the help message.
--usage 10 Display brief usage message.
--use-shell 10 Prevent Gnome Control Center from using Nautilus
\fB--gdk-debug=FLAGS\fR 10 Enable Gdk debugging flags.
\fB--gdk-no-debug=FLAGS\fR 10 Disable Gdk debugging flags.
\fB--display=DISPLAY\fR 10 X display to use.
\fB--screen=SCREEN\fR 10 X screen to use.
--sync 10 Make X calls synchronous.
\fB--name=NAME\fR 10 Program name as used by the window manager.
\fB--class=CLASS\fR 10 Program class as used by the window manager
\fB--gtk-debug=FLAGS\fR 10 Enable Gtk debugging flags.
\fB--gtk-no-debug=FLAGS\fR 10 Disable Gtk debugging flags.
--g-fatal-warnings 10 Make all warnings fatal
\fB--gtk-module=MODULE\fR 10 Load an additional Gtk module.
\fB--oaf-ior-fd=FD\fR 10 File descriptor to print IOR on
\fB--oaf-activate-iid=IID\fR 10 IID to activate
--oaf-private 10 Prevent registering of server with OAF
--disable-sound 10 Disable sound server usage
--enable-sound 10 Enable sound server usage
\fB--espeaker=HOSTNAME:PORT\fR 10 Host:port on which the sound server to use is running
--version 10 Show version.
\fB--sm-client-id=ID\fR 10 Specify session management ID
\fB--sm-config-prefix=PREFIX\fR 10 Specify prefix of saved configuration
--sm-disable 10 Disable connection to session manager
--disable-crash-dialog 10 Don't show crash dialog box.
